As this update is being written, Kevin Mrak, Daryl Ropp and Joe Purrenhage are laying down their tracks to my latest song, "Love Me Long Time" at Joe Purrenhage's studio in the Flint, Michigan area. This marks the first time we have worked together since 1992.

New song recorded - Love Me Long Time

Love Me Long Time is in the rock-n-roll genre and is reminiscent of Bad Things by Jace Everett. The song was born while driving in my car when I just started singing it and felt its groove and arrangement. It's a fun song and marks the first time I've written a song about sex. Yikes.

Software used was Cubase 5, Native Instruments Guitar Rig 5 Pro, Toontrack Superior Drummer and Izotope Ozone 5. I wanted to try using 100% software in recording the guitars and I must say, the NI Guitar Rig 5 really impressed me and the sound is surprisingly rich. This was my first use of Ozone 5 and wow ~ talk about impressive software!

guild-f45-ceAfter all these years I've finally decided to make music my #1 priority, thus investing the majority of my time to it.

Music has always been the only thing I've truly loved but the risk of making a living off my music always kept me from dedicating myself to it. Being poor sucks and let's face it ~ making a living within the music industry is harder then ever. Life is long but life is short and one must follow their natural path ~ my path is creating music. So here I am. I hope you'll follow my progress and support me.
