You see your road,
You cast your mold, You start to dream, You're fate is sealed. God, have mercy on me... You're strong, You're inner world is growing... But the questions still linger in your head; You've fought this frustration before, And it's still growing... If only somewhere could be happiness and reason... There's so many reasons to be full of indecision. You feel the fire inside, So you go to see what it might be, And find at the center of your world Is your demon's laugh. You read the writing on the wall And you've grown to see: It's all fireworks- And then it never works, You're looking for someone so hard it hurts. So you just keep on growing strong! And you just keep on growing old... You find yourself alone at night Digging deeper and deeper and deeper... The quest you lead's a lonely fight, The next one's a keeper. There's so many reasons to remember where we come from, To help us fight this madness, And feel the sun shine on our faces... Life can be so twisted. You read the writings on the wall, And you've grown to see: It's all fireworks- And then it never works, You're looking for someone so hard But then you finally realize this foolish game will never pay, And it's time to wake-up, Everyday, To live your life, Not be afraid, To stand up tall And be at One, Enjoy yourself, And walk this world alone. |
